Separate Panels

I wanted to experiment with 3D pattern cutting, so decided to use my previous inspiration to look into creating different panels on a garment where I can attach different fabrics/patters or even macramé.

First had to create a basic pattern for the mannequin, I used a child one to save time on my samples.

With the pattern attached to the mannequin I drew the shapes I wanted straight on,

Cut the pieces out straight off the mannequin.

Obviously sew together. This is the back view

Knots and twists in fabric

Inspired by my previous macramé work, I wanted to experiment with creating unusual twists and knots with pattern cutting and fabric.
